The Partner Integration team has the mission to ensure the best experience for our customers when watching on home entertainment devices, including televisions, set-top boxes and games consoles. We work with development teams across Prime Video and the A-list of home entertainment manufacturers and their suppliers to bring our service to the latest and greatest devices with the latest technologies. We are seeking a talented Snr Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join the team as we scale our ability to support our global reach.You’ll be responsible for technical relationships with strategic players across industry and for the delivery of development projects to bring the Prime Video experience to our partner’s platforms. We’re looking for a hands-on leader that can make a huge impact on a dynamic, fast moving business. Someone who is equally comfortable digging in to business requirements as drilling into architecture and design or diagnosing issues with development teams.
This role requires working closely with business development and product management to define common strategy and requirements; working with partners from across industry to build strong technical relationships; coordinating engineering teams from Amazon and partners to bring new capabilities to market and leading internal development from design through delivery and subsequent operation.
A successful candidate will have an established background in developing customer-facing experiences, a strong technical ability, excellent project management and organizational skills, great communication skills, a motivation to achieve results in a fast-paced environment, high creativity, and great analytical reasoning. They should be motivated to ensure high quality delivery and must be capable of managing key third-party software vendor technical relationships. They will have extensive experience in defining projects and programs, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional and test specifications, coordinating efforts to scope, schedule and deploy new feature set as well as analyzing the costs and benefits of feature selection and communicating the results through the organization. The candidate should also be comfortable of defining metrics or developing methodology to measure the delivery, using data to drive better decisions and be able to explain technical issues and resolution status in clear terms.
