Commercial Segment Manager - France

Would you like to lead the Amazon Web Services (AWS) French Commercial Account Management team focused on helping customers across various segments innovate faster and grow? Do you have the business savvy, past management experience and passion for technology to work with your team and help establish AWS as a key technology infrastructure platform provider?

As the France Commercial Segment Leader, you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and help shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include facilitating adoption and market penetration in commercial accounts within France. You will also hire and develop a highly talented Account Management team focused on customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess a technology account management background that enables them to lead a team of managers who are responsible for various locations across France. He/she should also be a self-starter who is prepared to manage, develop and execute a geographic plan and consistently deliver on its quarterly and yearly targets.

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Hire, develop and grow a world class Commercial Account Management function
  • Help ensure customer satisfaction
  • Help create France wide and region specific Commercial Account Management go-to-market strategies to help accelerate customer adoption, grow existing customers and facilitate market penetration
  • Provide support to increase engagement through partners to facilitate AWS adoption
  • Partner with Marketing and Business Development functions to drive campaigns into specific market segments to generate pipeline
  • Implement an country wide, effective lead management process to ensure that leads are managed in a timely manner and to help provide continuous improvement on conversion rates
  • Meet or exceed your quarterly and yearly goals
  • Identify, implement, measure and improve critical KPIs that will help maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Facilitate long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Instill and maintain a positive culture that inspires performance and achievement
  • Expect moderate travel

Basic Qualifications

  • Experience of technology related management or business development.
  • Experience in account management working for a technology vendor focused on enterprise solutions, leading a team of account managers focusing on commercial accounts
  • BA/BS degree required, MBA degree is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to coach and motivate
  • Expert knowledge of the full sales cycle, from prospecting, cold calling through to negotiation and closing

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree is a plus
